Lunch in Newport

Tomorrow marks one of my best friend's 21st birthday! So to celebrate, we ate at Panini Cafe for the first time and had Sprinkles Ice Cream right after since she's been craving it - gotta make the birthday girl happy!

Bacon and egg panini with a side of roasted potatoes.

Grilled chicken panini and a fruit cup.

We actually shared our orders so we could try each other's panini. I was able to try the grilled chicken panini, which is apparently one of the more popular paninis there; but unfortunately it wasn't up to par for me. I'm not sure if it was the way the chicken was grilled or if it was the bread, but I probably won't be ordering it again. I do look forward to trying more food from Panini Cafe though! Their menu was decently priced and they had a large selection to choose from; the wait wasn't too long either. I would say the only downside would be the parking as I had to parallel park.

Left: cupcake sundae with butter pecan ice cream and a chocolate marshmallow cupcake
Right: red velvet ice cream
