Christmas Goodies

It's safe to say that I'm extremely happy and satisfied with what my friends and family got for me for Christmas this year, so I thought I could share it on here! I mean I'm sure I would have loved pretty much anything they could have gotten me, but they really did a great job this year, if I do say so myself. I feel so blessed and thankful!

Excuse me if the photos look horrible or if the lighting is off! I don't have Adobe Photoshop on my MacBook to touch them up so, here they are in their purest form...

This 3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Pashli was an early Christmas gift from my uncle when he visited me during my Thanksgiving break. I had expressed interest to him in the "mini pashli" from Target awhile back, but it had obviously been sold out. I couldn't justify paying $80 or so to buy it on Ebay either. So when he came to visit, he offered to purchase the real mini pashli for me! I was extremely hesitant at first to even allow my uncle to buy such a gift as I'm not really into purses, let alone into designer purses... I just don't wear purses all that often to be quite honest, unless I'm going out. However I've been looking for a new small black bag since my old one is about four years old and torn. Both my mom and dad gave me the blessing of getting the bag since they thought it would be a good investment, and voila!

I've been wearing this bag out a lot this winter break and I really love it! The only complaint I have is the flap. It's quite annoying to take things in and out of it, especially with the handles hovering and buttoned over the top. I can't really explain it clearly, but despite that, I still really do like this purse.

So this, along with the next few gifts, were from one of my best friends, Vivian. In addition to a little black bag, I was also looking for a little white bag too, since I broke my old one two summers ago. This Forever 21 bag was on my wishlist, so I was delighted to see that she had gotten it for me! I forgot to take a picture of it, but the inside lining also has a pretty black and white butterfly (or leaf or flower?) looking pattern, which caught my eye.

Milani's Baked Blush in Berry Amore - I was so excited about this! I've heard a lot of great things about Milani's Baked Blushes in the YouTube beauty community. Because Target stopped carrying Milani and Walmart is out of my way, I never bothered to try to pick one up myself. I have no blush whatsoever, so this is my first one! This has actually become one of my favorite things to put on whenever I do my makeup now.

The Travalo! Yet another thing I put on my wish-list. It's basically a refillable perfume bottle. I've owned Fresh's Sugar Lychee Perfume for quite awhile now, but I rarely used it because the smell would be gone by the time I got to school in the morning. Now it won't go to waste and I can use it on the go! Super convenient.

These are the two "random/surprise" gifts from Vivian - NYX's lip gloss in beige and slippers! I had only owned a clear NYX lip gloss, so I'm excited to try this out soon. As for the slippers, I actually really do like them, probably more than I should. There's a bunch of slippers around my house that my parents wear, but I never bothered to wear them... However now that I actually have my own pair of slippers, I wear them all the time!

One of my other best friends and little got me Sony speakers! I don't own any sort of speakers so this is a fun addition to my room. It has Bluetooth, so it can connect to my MacBook and iPhone. I've used it quite a few times so far to watch movies and YouTube videos and listen to music.

I got this as my Secret Santa gift. It's part of Starbucks' "You Are Here" mug collection. I have one for Waikiki and California, so I was glad to add this one to my small collection.

Lastly, another one of my best friends, Aileen, got me an Anthropologie mug, a Real Techniques shading brush, and a book about Disneyland facts! I was surprised that she was even able to get her hands on the mug, since it was sold out online and in many stores. Side note - I'm a sucker for anything monogram! The "random/surprise" gift was the book. I was pretty taken aback by this gift too, since I had spotted it in Barnes & Noble a few days before she gave it to me and thought that it would be a cool little gift to get!

My friends know me so well! I'm so impressed with what they got for me this year. I couldn't have asked for anything better! (Okay maybe One Direction VIP concert tickets like Zoe/Louise -cough-, just kidding) ....

xx
