My experience so far in Vancouver has been only but a decent one. Don't get me wrong, I've found the city and its architecture interesting, and the people here are a nice change from those back at home; however I just haven't found the factor that's really caught my eye yet. Perhaps I'll find something that will really grab my attention later in the week. To be honest I think the highlight of my trip so far have been:
1. The officers at the YVR airport in their very nice uniforms
2. My mom making a metaphor and calling my dad "combination fried rice" (what?!)
3. The fact that there's public art everywhere in the city
On Friday, my mom and I went to Best Buy and she bought me a Canon EOS 100D/Rebel SL1 so that we (well, more like I) can take nice photos on this trip. Needless to say I'm still trying to figure out this whole DSLR thing out, so bare with me if some of the lighting is off. I still have yet to get Photoshop on my laptop, so as always, these photos are very much untouched.
Part of our hotel that is currently being renovated.
I just wanted to take a picture in front of the wallpaper because it's pretty.
My brother got on his laptop almost immediately after we settled in.
We ate at a Thai restaurant located across the street from our hotel.
Richmond Night Market.
Late night pho!
